THE MOST IMPROBABLE SITUATION: Human Beings becoming Immortal

The most improbable situation: Human Beings becoming Immortal.
9th December, 1980
The only ultimate reality of life “Death” conquered by the scientists of CISR, India. Flashed the morning newspaper, first I thought it as a gimmick but no it was the authentic report. I could not believe my eyes, I was skeptical about that innovation at that moment of time but now no more after living for almost 200 years. Mankind found the elixir of life. I still recollect the jubilation and frenzy atmosphere of that particular day all around the world. World over people were not able to sink themselves in to this feeling that they have now the panacea for all diseases.
The government agencies administered the cure in drops to the people.

The first outcome of this revelation led to the demolition of religious structure, yes “God is dead”. We no more required the benediction of someone unknown called the God. Temples, Mosques, Churches and other religious structures were rubble to ground. Doctors lost their profession. Life became too fast, people lost the value for human lives, crime graph sky rocketed as there was no deterrent for the criminals .
Life changed but Time stopped. Billion people are still here on this planet earth living a life of an immortal. No one is afraid dying, the whole life cycle turned upside down, the boon became a trap for us to suffer more. Yes we are not dying but we lived and saw the world how it changed. We crossed through our youth to this stage were we are again like a newborn child. Morality rate almost come to zero .We no more celebrate the birth of a child because we already having teeming population.

Our playing with nature has created chaos. As the global warming increased due to the human activities and emission of harmful gases, the Mother Nature changed, we saw the ice age and also the greenery of land turning into deserts. Human beings lost the emotional value as no one is worried about death but we mourn when somebody is born. The fight among world increased to capture land for food production, bloody wars fought to secure a good life for the people of warring country. We saw nuclear war, the advanced age warfare among the countries.
We lost the sense of exuberance of life and the joy of child. Immortality ended the human bondage to the cycle of life and death. Life become monotonous, the vivacity and vitality of life was lost. We imprisoned our own self into this world. No one is dying and the world became an old age home.

Creativity died, people living in the hope to break this human folly which led to more problems than solution. Politicians all around the world not abdicating the power, dictatatorship replaced the democracy; people were forced to work in inhuman conditions.

Scientists again world over searched for a cure to absolve this problem which has created pandemonium. People wanted to die to get rid of this human cycle. The monotony of life killed them, they no more enjoyed the vagaries of life, human became animals, immortality led to more disaster and the boon turned into a curse.
